Introduction
This blog features a series of posts that together form a guide to the original version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Mirage Studios.
It's an evolving guide. Indeed this introductory post was the tenth post written (almost a year after the first) and will undergo numerous revisions as more things are written.
Currently the main parts of the guide are the TMNT Story Lists and the TMNT Bookshelf posts.
The Story lists show all of the stories set in the main Mirage continuity, divided into eras and with a final list for the stories released following the sale of the property to Viacom.
Stories are listed in order of release. Well "ish". Multi-part stories are listed as one to avoid suggesting someone reads so much of a story, stops to read an unrelated tale and then go back to what they were reading before. A few other tweaks have also been made, with explanations given in the notes.

The bookshelf posts provide a guide to the various shelf-friendly collected editions that have been released over the years.
